Draft South Area Community Plan: Describes the vision for the South Area and provides goals and policies to guide development in a way to achieve this vision. This is the draft document for public review and comment. Final South Area Community Plan: Final document incorporating comments from public review of the draft plan. This document will be available for public review prior to adoption. Draft Environmental Impact Report (DEIR): Document discussing potential environmental impacts caused by implementation of the 2030 General Plan and the South Area Community Plan. It includes mitigation measures to decrease environmental impacts wherever possible. The DEIR will be available for public review and comment for 60 days, as required by State law. Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR): Document prepared after public review of the DEIR. It includes the DEIR, a summary of comments about the DEIR, and responses to the comments. This is the final environmental document that the City Council will review prior to adoption of the 2030 General Plan and South Area Community Plan. Adoption: The City Council votes to approve the final South Area Community Plan. The Plan then supplements the General Plan as a more specific guide for development within the South Area. |
