Envision a Greater Community

The Airport-Meadowview and South Sacramento Commmunity Plan areas have seen a number of significant changes since the last plan update in the 1980s. Today, we have a unique opportunity to identify the choices and opportunities and to craft a vision for the future of our community.

As you think about the future, consider the kind of community that you want to live in over the next 25 years. Think about your neighborhood and think about your community - its needs and its promise.

  • What do you want the South Area to look like?

  • If you could take a photo of the South Sacramento area in the future, what would be in it?

  • What are the key challenges facing us now and in the future?
